While my pet slug is MIA, I got my slug fix by taking an early morning “slugfari©” – a nature walk for the sole purpose of photographing slugs in the wild.
And surprise! I’d never seen a snail on the nature trail before. I wish I’d gotten a better shot. Its shell was about the size of a quarter and its body was shockingly white — just beautiful. I moved it off the trail before joggers or dogs crunched it.
I had to photograph this one as it headed down the hill because it looks so much like my pet slug. These photos were all shot during one 30 minute walk.
